Maliki Proposal: Resignation with No Prosecution! + Analysis by MrIQD

HAT TIP: The IQD Team

Happy TGIF!!!

We’ve retweeted several variations of this news, but liked this one best!

We know Maliki has been taking perhaps $Billions from oil sales and bribes, this has been reported in the past.

Therefore, the money explains it all… Right???!!! Maliki may have been fighting the loss of power because he didn’t want to get prosecuted!

So we find it interesting they are proposing to let him resign for a peaceful transfer of power! Which is good for Iraq over the long-term.

But, we are sure there is more to this deal than is being published! Don’t be surprised if they force Maliki to return the stolen money. But, it may come as “Donations”.. Perhaps to rebuild the University??? Something like that.

Well, buckle-up, the weekend could provide us a very interesting ride!!!

It looks like they have the votes!

If we are seeing this in the public news, then what is really happening behind the closed doors should be very exciting!

It is VERY ENCOURAGING to see a public account of so many members of Maliki’s group not supporting him! Notice, it says “more than 20″ – yea, because some will not say until the time of the vote when they see it’s hopeless for Maliki. Which based on this article…. IT’S HOPELESS NOW!!! :-)

Source: Meeting of Najaf, however, presented two letters to the National Alliance Chalabi and Talabani to withdraw confidence from the Maliki + Analysis by MrIQD

HAT TIP: The IQD Team

We have been wondering what Talalbani’s position on Maliki was.

There were some concerns that he didn’t want to vote against Maliki.

In the article we just posted, it mentioned the other four political blocks, but not Talalbani.

Which is why we really liked this article! Lots of great info in this article too!

Maliki calls for political blocs to meet in Baghdad to solve problems according to the law and the Constitution! + Analysis by MrIQD

HAT TIP: Dinar Daddy

How many times can Maliki say “Constitutional”??? LOL!!!!

Clearly he believes he can beat the five political blocks (including his own political party) by tricking the Iraqi people in to believing that he is the good guy defending the Constitution!

We don’t believe this will work! The people are tired of being dirt poor when their Kuwait neighbors have such wealth!

They are not stupid, ignorant people, they can even see the wealth of Saudi Arabia, they know something is wrong with the Maliki administration!

Then, with Sadr recently waking up and saying to his millions of followers that Maliki is not the friend he thought he was, well the gig is up on Maliki!

Will they move their meetings to Baghdad? Probably not since they know they could be easily arrested by Maliki’s Police!

We will have to wait to see how this unfolds, but we are very confident that these Leaders have already planned on this tactic by Maliki and know exactly how best to combat it and keep in a positive favor with the Iraqi people.

Our assumption is from what we’ve read is that the leaders will promote someone from within Maliki’s own Political Party to fill Maliki’s spot when he is removed!

It’s exciting to watch progress being made!!!

Sadr, a week set a deadline for the National Alliance to end the crisis! + Analysis by MrIQD

HAT TIP: The Currency News Hound

We wanted to publish this article for its two key points.

First, it tells us we got another week according to Sadr – and since Sadr is leading this dance, we will believe him.

We knew a “few days” but what is nice now is there is a proper deadline set by Sadr!

Next, we like this article because of the mention of the letter from the US stating we support their decision to remove Maliki!!! :-)
